CrossFit Crescenta Valley strives to deliver its members measurable results, regardless of fitness level or each client’s personal goals. Our central core values are community, integrity, and safety. Historically, from the time we first opened our doors in 20--, we built a community of people of various ethnicities, ages, fitness levels, and walks of life who all had one thing in common - a goal to be healthier, or better everyday. Our classes provide an environment of friendly competition, which yields intensity that cannot be matched by other ways. As stated by Glassman, “Ahead of efficacy is safety.” At CFCV, we take our athletes’ safety seriously and strive to ensure that we support you with achieving the results you are looking for in an efficient, yet safe manner.
World-Class Fitness in 100 Words
Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports.
